With a warm weather blast last week we broke out the summer clothes.

 Then we had to document it, because, you know, who can resist chunky baby legs sticking out of shortalls?

 Oh this boy. He is such an easy going guy! He sleeps great and hardly ever cries. We've been dragging him all over the place to go to baseball games and he never complains. If all babies were this easy, people would have a lot more, I think. (insert winky face)

Rainy Day Fun

It is a grey, rainy day here today.

You can peek at it through the blooming wisteria.

The home schooled kids and I had a pretty lazy day. Since the kids were all stuck playing indoors, I decided to make some homemade playdough! I used the recipe from here.

We made it rainbow colors,

and threw some glitter in a couple colors for sparkly playdough (can you see it?).

The girls had so much fun!

They even made their names:

Overall, a super fun rainy day!

Baseball

It's official! Baseball season starts today! Both of my ball playing boys have their first games tonight. I'm so excited for them!

 So, how can I tell that it's baseball season? Well, for one thing, this is the view inside:

Up!

How else can I tell it's baseball season? Because this is the view outside:

Rain!

Will it dry out so the boys get to play? I sure hope so!

Today

Today, the sun is shining! (although there are a bunch of dark clouds on the horizon....)

I just love how the little girls get so into their coloring! You wouldn't believe how much paper we go through! :)

when we woke up this morning!

SNOW!!

Not much, but enough to coat everything in a beautiful blanket of white.

Enter the early riser:

After spreading the happy news to her sister, a couple little girls decided that breakfast could wait!



A little while later, a couple big kids joined them:

Shortly after, they all came back in for breakfast and hot chocolate. The snow was completely melted by 10:45... but not until it was thoroughly enjoyed!
